Wow !! Fantastic food! Shared a pizza and garlic bread more than enough for two. Amazing service with friendly staff. Great relation price to quality despite being in the airport!
I must say I was impressed with food and service. We had calzone and melanzane pizzas, tomato bruschetta and some desserts- tiramisu and bloody orange sherbet. All was great, good coffee blend as well. Service was polite and friendly.
We had a relaxing pre-flight meal at Terracotta Italian Kitchen, it was the ideal retreat from the busy hustle and bustle of the airport. There was a nice feel to the restaurant and wasn’t too busy, it was ideally situated next to the shuttle train to the gate. The service was good and waiting time short, our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and of good quality. It would have been nice to have a slightly more generous portion of Carbonara, however with a side of Mozzarella Garlic Bread my meal was well-portioned and satisfying. My friend enjoyed their meal as well, particularly their dessert of Orange & Lemon Torte. This came with a refreshing looking blood orange sorbet. There was a ‘Rapido’ feature on some of the menu items which designated that the dish would be served within 15 minutes. Neither of my dishes had this though they were still served within 15 minutes I believe. The only downsides to this restaurant were the prices and cleanliness of some of the glassware. My Carbonara was priced at £17.45 and my Aperol Spritz at £12.95. At the end of our meal I discovered lipstick on the edge of my glass, fortunately I had been using a paper straw. I advised the waiter of this, he apologised and we received 10% off our meal after I requested a discount. My friend also thought there was something like a clothing fibre in their drink. Overall I would return to this restaurant as it is a proper sit down dining experience and more relaxing than some of the other food outlets at the airport.
We had a great meal and the waiter was terrific. My son said it was the best pizza he had ever eaten, and he has eaten a lot of of pizzas!!!! it felt like eating in a nice little italian restaurant, a welcome change to all the fast food chain restaurants.
Authentic Italian cuisine. I found the authentic taste of Italian pizza here. I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
Dropped in for breakfast, it’s one of the quieter places in the airport, but certainly one of the best. I have eaten in many of the restaurants within the airport and this is one of the best for valve, presentation and the friendly staff. Our waitress for Patrica and she was superb.
Very nice atmosphere, fast service and good range of food. I waited for my coffee, dessert and carbonara less then 10 mins! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Only one tiny thing I would ask to improve- house keeping. I was sitting on the table close to artificial palm leaves and it was so much dust there, so close to my food. Overall it was nice experience, thank you.
Delighted with this restaurant What a find! Bright, welcoming, clean with chilled tunes in the background. Very refreshing to order something without bread (I'm coeliac) and to be asked if I want to substitute spinach for it!! That almost never happens! The food arrived quickly, fast and well presented, drinks were fab and service great - attentive and friendly. Great way to start our holiday thank you Terracotta!
